Foundation Heifers and Cows
Hazel
A happy Dun colored 50/50 High Dex Heifer with Lakeport Bloodlines. Hazel is Chondro Positive, born 12/20/21. Her sweet disposition makes her a favorite for all farm visitors. She may pass up treats, but will never pass on her brush. First Calf Coming April 2024
Taffy
Beautiful Dunn 50/50 High Dex Heifer with Lakeport Bloodlines. Taffy is Chondro Positive, born 12/17/2021 She has a little spunky personality, and dislikes shots and halters, but will do almost anything for a treat. Obviously! First Calf coming May 2024
Pippi
Classic Red color 50/50 High Dex Heifer. Pippi is Chondro Positive, born 01/28/22. Pippi loves her ‘mom’ (Hollie), and is loud and outspoken about her food and affection! So far she is the smallest (but fattest) of the Fold. First Calf coming May 2024
Love Bug
Snuggly Dun colored 50/50 High-Dex Heifer with Lakeport Bloodlines. Love Bug was born on Valentines Day, 2022, and is Chondro Positive. She is easy going and happy, loves treats, is easy to lead, and loves to be brushed. First Calf coming May 2024
Belle
Belle is a Black Dexter Heifer. Aprox 4 years old, we acquired her with Baby Bean at her side in Jan 2023. She is Chondro Positive, and a great Mamma! She’s a little shy, and does not like to be handled as much as the other girls, but loves a good treat! Expected to Calf September 2024
Bean
Black High-Dex Heifer, Bean is the daughter of Belle. Chondro Positive and Born 01/01/2023, we’re super happy to have her at our Ranch. One of our smallest girls, with a nice thick coat, We’re excited to see the calves she produces (first calf in 2025)

Term Definition
High Dex: Mix of the Highland and Dexter Cattle Breeds.
Lakeport: Our Cattle are from the Lakeport Breeding program. Started over 20 years ago, Lakeport lines are the highest quality and one of the longest breeding programs for miniature highlands in the world. Their commitment to Thick Coats, Small Size, and Calm Temperament is why we chose to Breed and sell Lakeport Calves.
Chondro: The Gene ‘Chondrodysplasia’ is carried in the Dexter line. It is a dwarf gene that brings genetic traits required for micro sized cattle.
Midsize Cattle: Any Cattle Under 49″
Miniature Cattle: Any Cattle Under 43″
Micro Mini Cattle: Any cattle under 36″

The Grand Ranch is our family’s private Ranch and home. Outside visitors must book a tour or a guest home to come and enjoy our miniature animal paradise! Tours are Seasonal.
